LesleighFrank.com is a website for the modern, intelligent woman. She is probably reading this while simultaneously holding a toddler, drinking coffee, writing a meeting agenda in her head, and hoping to throw together an easy meal for dinner. We’re busy gals.
LesleighFrank.com chronicles the ups and downs of motherhood and highlights the unique lifestyle of life in Anchorage, Alaska. It is written for women of all walks of life who don't want to limit themselves to just being a single title. It is for the woman who is multifaceted, unique, and with loads of interests. It is for women who may not live in their dream location (hello, Alaska!) yet are trying to make their life meaningful and more tolerable while they're powering through.
If that sounds like you, let’s be friends:

What was formerly pearls on a string, LesleighFrank.com continues on with raw and vulnerable experiences of motherhood and turning my life around. A few years ago, I was at rock bottom. Now, I am on a quest for authenticity, self-love, and purpose. LesleighFrank.com will likely not show outfits or link to products because I don’t want that to get in the way of what we really want as women: empowerment, connection, and support.
I Believe...
- In equality for all.
- In creating a positive community of women where we can commiserate on the hardships of parenting and life yet also rejoice in our journey.
- In manicures, handwritten thank you notes, and baking from scratch.
- The best days include a delicious cappuccino and a fresh pastry.
- That struggles are part of the story.
- That women can be great mothers, intelligent beings, educated professionals, travel, and inspire.
- That everyone should spend time working or volunteering in a children’s hospital.
About Lesleigh
Hi! I'm Lesleigh and I am so happy to have you here. I am originally from Oregon yet have lived in California, Maryland, and now Anchorage, Alaska. I am a mother, a researcher, and an occupational therapist. I earned a PhD, in which I studied early lung cancer detection inspired by the illness and death of my father, a Master of Occupational Therapy degree, and a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science. Clinically, I've worked as a clinician in pediatrics for nearly 13 years in Maryland and Alaska, primarily in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
I am married to an outdoorsman and together we have two daughters. They join us on all sorts of adventures, like moving across the country and exploring The Last Frontier. I am an avid baker, writer, and seeker of beauty. I try to make the best out of life in Alaska, and spend my time hiking, skiing, and traveling when an escape is necessary.
I'm glad you're here and hope you'll stay a while.
