The summer weather is tricky in Alaska. Some days I feel like I am getting dressed for a fall/winter day (or spring at best) rather than summer. It can be hard to feel summery when the temps are in the mid 50s, the wind is blowing, and the constant drizzle makes me want to reach for sweaters rather than sun dresses. To avoid my winter go-to of black, black, gray, pink, and more black, I try to opt for warmer clothes in lighter colors to make life feel summery. These light pink jeans (which are on mega sale right now!) act as a neutral and this light blue top feels summery with ruffled sleeves. I don’t often get to wear heels but when I do I definitely gravitate towards a stocky heel for stability when chasing after the babies!
