It’s a little devastating how few date nights Nate and I have had since Magnolia was born. We thought we knew better after Waverley’s infancy, yet we weren’t prepared for how much more difficult it is to get out of the house with two littles. Last weekend we finally managed to breakout for a late dinner and drinks. I put Magnolia down early (these things take an entire date to prep for regarding shifting her schedule up by 30 minutes) and we were off! We went to one of our favorite standbys, Crush Wine Bistro. The weather here is still chilly in spring/summer terms so it does look like I am legitimately dressed for fall! Nevertheless we enjoyed a lovely walk there and a round of drinks outside on the patio. We didn’t make it home until midnight– which is CRAZY for us– because the midnight sun is very deceiving. Whenever we have the opportunity for couple time we love to eat delicious food and share a million plates. What’s your go-to date night activity?
