A very silly and sweet bonus that comes with having two girls is sometimes we all match, or at least coordinate. It can be completely happenstance where we all are wearing similar shades (okay not that happenstance since I buy all three of our wardrobes) or completely on purpose, like these fun swan dresses. Waverley loves matching with Magnolia and just about lost her mind when I said we all got to wear the same swan dress. Sigh. Do you think that excitement will last forever?:)
You may remember at one point I was devastated to have a daughter and utterly perplexed to have another. The rather irritating saying is true: You don’t get what you want, you get what you need. I’ve learned so much about myself and how to be a better person through their presence. I truly love having two daughters and now think it is ridiculous I ever felt differently (so for others that may have the gender reveal blues, take heart!). Although I am only 9 months in, here is what I love about having two daughters so far!
Top Five of Two Daughters
1. Matching outfits. Obviously.
2. Seeing their bond develop/grow each day and knowing it will last forever.
3. Girls’ day! Girls’ bath! Girls’ lunch! It’s always exciting.
4. Waverley’s growing interest in feminine items like makeup, skirts, dresses. I look forward to having two little gals to talk to about fashion and style.
5. Knowing I’ve been tasked with the incredible responsibility to raise strong, intelligent, empathetic, and opinionated women. The future is female.
Our dresses are from Winter Water Factory. I love that they are made with Certified Organic Cotten and are so easy to wear! The girls’ bows are from Joey Mae Handmade.
