I always look forward to Nate’s work Christmas party every year. It is such a fun opportunity to dress up and everyone he works with is so nice! This year it was our first date night since long before Magnolia was born– we were trying to remember our last yet couldn’t, which is pretty pathetic. We forged ahead despite our collective exhaustion and I forgot how refreshing it is to be out sans children. I actually got to enjoy our dinner without bouncing or simultaneously feeding a baby. I also took advantage of not needing to wear breastfeeding-friendly attire so chose this skirt and shirt ensemble. The skirt is so fun! It twirls and has a lovely band to trick the eye into seeing a flattened stomach. It was perfect for this postpartum mama. And since burgundy is the color of the season, I had to bring in the color in shoes and a matching lip. Happy holiday partying!
