These sweet newborn photos were taken when Magnolia was just seven days old. It seems like it was merely week or two ago yet it was two months ago! I was warned that time passes quicker with the second child and this has proved undeniably true for me. I am grateful we had these done because I love to remember just how tiny she was. In the thick of it, it seems the newborn phase will last forever yet then surpasses in a blink.
We went for a much simpler, more natural style than we did with Waverley’s newborn photos. I still adore Waverley’s pictures, yet I love that these were taken in our home and represent our real life. We always hangout on our bed, reading stories before bed time or snuggling on weekend mornings, so it really did seem like the perfect spot to capture our life with the newest family member. And since Waverley and I wore flower crowns for my maternity photos while I was pregnant with Magnolia, it seemed only fitting that she be encircled in flowers as well.
