The end of summer is kind of like the end of pregnancy. You’re ready for a change but the bliss and nostalgia of long days, outside dinners, and beach-filled weekends are hard to say goodbye to. (Or, in pregnancy, the freedom to eat gelato in bed every night, sit whenever you want, and receive endless smiles from people on the street.) The end of both are bittersweet and I am prepping to say goodbye to summer– fall comes early in Alaska– and the pregnant phase of life. As the air grows cooler and my belly grows bigger, I seek comfort in relaxed white denim and this off-shoulder top. I have been so obsessed with both the color of the top this summer (soft mauve is and will always be my jam) and silhouette. I hope the weather stays warm enough for me to squeeze in a few more wears because the access for breastfeeding is perfect! And, let’s be real, anything loose fitting around the abdomen will be my very close friend for several months to come.
