The hardest part about living in Alaska is that spring pops up way too late. I typically spend all of March and April desperate for flowers to bloom and the sun to shine warmly. Even if the outdoors still resemble winter, at least we can live vicariously through fun books for Waverley that teach her about the different seasons. Reading these before bedtime always put me in the happy, spring mood! If you and your littles need a spring pick-me-up, I highly recommend incorporating these into your daily reading sessions.
