It wasn’t until a few years ago I started embracing pink during the holidays. Now, I can’t fathom what my holdout was! It is such a diverse shade that can truly work for any occasion. Last year Nate actually acquiesced to pink Christmas tree ornaments. I loved wearing this pale pink tweed dress to our first holiday party of the year last weekend. The thicker fabric + scattered sequins paired perfectly with the shade and I felt sweetly festive without being too precious (all black accessories also helped). It will also work throughout winter and into early spring, which I think makes it a worthy splurge. Waverley kept touching my dress and exclaiming, “Mama has sprinkles on her dress! Pretty!” And I just about died. I hope you all have fabulous holiday soirées in your future!
