There are dozens of unused mason jars in my kitchen cupboard from years of canning tuna that I devastatingly have not been able to do since moving to the east coast (Dad, that is your cue to send tuna our way, please). Due to this, mason jars became a common item for little things around the house: holding spare clothespins for quick access in the kitchen,
a cute presentation for treats, little rustic vases in the bathroom, and a hot beverage cup before I purchased actual coffee mugs. I was inspired by an image on Pinterest to spice up a few of my faithful decorations by giving them a coat of metallic paint. Look what a difference it made!
{Two reasons I love this idea: Mason jars are très cheap (approximately one dollar each) and even the least crafty gal can hold a can of spray paint. A few coats may be needed and make sure each coat is dry before adding more.}
{I mixed tall and skinny with short and stout to add to the rustic vibe. Also, remember The Rule of Three!}
