It happens every year, so I have no idea why I continue to grow surprised. It seems like an absolute eternity until the holidays and then in an instant they are upon us. This year’s Thanksgiving is going to be a little different than I’m used to. For the first time I will neither be at home nor at family’s, instead venturing to a resort for a completely catered Thanksgiving meal. We are spending the entire weekend at Alyeska Resort which feels both sad and glorious at once. It seems if there’s ever a good time to try something new then this is the year. I am happy yet disappointed to not cook a giant meal but am looking forward to a relaxing weekend. Despite a rather miserable year I am remembering there is much to be thankful for. I hope you all have a truly wonderful Thanksgiving.
{Waverley is beginning to enjoy arts and crafts and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve been dying to do a rendition of turkey handprints!}
{I had the most relaxing Saturday night: A luxurious and long bubble bath while catching up on Scandal + a fresh pedicure with one of my favorite fall shades, plum noir.}
{We finally took the plunge and upgraded to a king sized bed. It’s been heavenly. I am excited to show you more as it all comes together!}
{Waverley has been living in these cozy sweatpants. I wish they came in my size.}
{We polished off the last of the wine we brought home from Oregon, courtesy of my sister-in-law’s family’s winery. Also we finally invested in a legit wine opener and life is much easier. I can do it one-handed while holding a babe! Cheers to that.}
What are you happy about this week? I hope you all have a lovely Wednesday and Happy Thanksgiving!
