Last year, I forgot to buy boots until it was too late. I was a little busy in the fall with things like having a baby, moving to Alaska, and unpacking a new house. By the time I realized I actually needed new boots all of the styles I wanted were gone. Sold out. Everywhere. It’s a really sad story, I know, mostly because I spent the duration of the winter with cold feet. This year I am stocking up early in anticipation for my first full Alaskan fall and winter. If I’m going to be traipsing through rain, slush, and snow I might as well have fabulous footwear doing so. Right?
