Picking out baby gifts can be tough. I’ve sent presents to my favorite little ones only to later learn they were duds and never used or enjoyed. Heavy sigh! Everyone wants to feel their gift was appreciated, but sometimes baby gifts are a bit precarious. I could never have predicted what gifts would be in daily rotation in our house and what gifts have already been donated, because sometimes a seemingly arbitrary toy is cherished and a painstakingly thoughtful gift is not. I predict it will only grow more random as Waverley gets older and starts to really develop attachments to certain items (like her older cousin, who loves to collect “special papers”). So far, Waverley’s been very fortunate to have received several lovely items in her short little life. Here are a few of her favorites (okay the crystal heart box from Tiffany & Co. isn’t her favorite yet) that make our daily lives much more enjoyable.
{One: her favorite blocks, Two: a dreamy (and sold out) diaper bag, Three: a hooded towel and wash cloth set embroidered with her name, Four & Five: a cute outfit that can be worn together or separately, Six: her first piece from Tiffany & Co with her monogram, Seven: a random yet beloved toy, Eight: love this book, Nine: the best changing pad ever, Ten: her super special snuggie}
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Guess what I am going to do … go fishing!
