I have been especially nostalgic for the East Coast this past week. One year ago I was experiencing my first stay at The Greenbrier for one of my best friend’s weddings, which also kind of doubled as our baby moon considering I was 32 weeks pregnant. I have the fondest memories of that weekend, from the stunning black tie wedding, the historical grounds, the pure luxury that is The Greenbrier, and a “last hurrah” with our East Coast friends. Oh how I miss them. So much has happened in the past year it almost seems like a different person experienced it all. Rather than grow sad about not being there anymore (my usual method of operation), I am rejoicing in the memories and practicing gratefulness that I was able to have the experience. Until next time, Greenbrier.
{This last picture of the bridesmaids is from the wedding photographer, The Oberports. You guys, I highly suggest you look at the pictures from this wedding on their blog. I mean … gorgeous. Just gorgeous!}

you have great maternity style! I found it so difficult finding comfy but cute cotton maxi dresses when I was pregnant. I’ve heard Pea in the Pod is great for picking up maternity wear but we don’t have that in Vancouver. Also that bride’s dress is absolutely stunning! The lace sleeves are so lovely, very chic.

Thank you! I did love Pea in the Pod! That is where the blue striped dress is from. The navy blue dress is from ASOS, which has a great maternity selection for really affordable prices. I loved GAP Maternity also for basic cotton maxi dresses. Remembering back, it was pretty fun dressing the bump!
