I often wish I worked in a more glamorous field and could dress like this for work, à la J. Crew’s Wear to Work Shop:

If I were to don a chic outfit like this two things would surely happen:  I’d be harassed all day with the question, “Why are you so dressed up?” and I would inevitably flash a poor child my unmentionables while crawling around on the floor.  Rather than risk jail time I am looking to special touches like this plaid tie-front blouse to spice up basics that are more pediatric hospital appropriate.
