Earlier this week the weather was beautiful; it was warm enough that I could enjoy bare legs yet still brisk enough to need coziness up top. The undeniable crisp in the air feels different than just a cold summer day and we all sense the turn to fall happening. I wore this cozy summer-to-fall dress to grab coffee and received so many compliments. It is basically a long sweatshirt– so comfortable!– but the flounced ruffle sleeves make it seem extra special and (perhaps falsely?) feel like I am putting in a tiny semblance of effort into getting dressed. It is perfect for that transitional time between summer and fall seasons. I plan to wear it with tights and boots when the weather grows even cooler because you know I never get tired of the color mauve! Have a great weekend!
