It’s one thing to get dressed during the immediate postpartum phase when jeans and sweaters are called for, yet entirely different when something a bit dressier is required! When we received a last minute invitation to a fundraiser the other week I was a little stressed about what to wear. Needless to say none of my dresses really fit. I purchased this burgundy dress from Target on whim a few days prior– the deep burgundy and tie-neck combination really caught my eye– and it worked perfectly. I topped it with a fur vest for extra warmth (it’s cold here!) and a bit of extra midsection coverage.
