Happy Friday! This week has just been one of those weeks where the countdown until the weekend has been on since my alarm went off on Monday morning. The end of the semester push is strong, which seems to correlate with my pregnancy exhaustion. Do you have any fun weekend plans? We plan to lay low and enjoy the “spring” weather here in Alaska, which means high 40s to low 50s. So, basically, the tropics. Family walks are growing much more enjoyable as Waverley can walk longer and Howie learns how to zig and zag among the trees. Have a great one!
Here are Waverley’s Weekly Woes! Toddlers are fun!
- Howie stole her sunglasses and ran around the yard with them.
- She refused to put her boots away.
- She lost her “big girl” cup privileges by dumping the contents out and stomping in the puddle it made.
- She threw her water bottle out of a moving car window.
- She wanted to go swimming. Then hated it.
- She wanted to go potty outside.
- She begged to help crack eggs and then cried when the yoke got on her fingers.
- She wanted to sit on the potty. Then burst into tears.
- She did not want a cookie.
- Her mother grabbed the incorrect potty book to read. “Not that potteeeeeee!”
- She wanted a squeezie pouch. No, a bar. No, a squeezie pouch. No, a barrrrr!
