One of the most important things about living in Alaska is having great winter gear. Unlike many areas where winter gear is truly only needed on select weekends, we wear our winter gear every day for at least 6 months. Everything has to be functional, durable, warm, and (naturally) cute, too. It’s a tall order. I didn’t know where to turn for winter gear for toddlers this year; I felt most options were too cutesy, not long-lasting enough, or poorly insulated. I am so glad I had the opportunity to team up with Hatley for some of Waverley’s winter gear this year because we love their products!
My first obsession are the thumb holes on the jacket. I’ve never seen a winter coat for toddlers with those thumb holes and they are incredible for keeping Waverley’s mittens in place. A tough task! Also, how cute is the faux fur hood lining? Waverley loves the cute deer prints on her boots and I love that they are easy to put on and offer great traction.
We love our Hatley gear and, a few months into our winter, it is still going strong. Long live winter! (Kind of!)
