Waverley loves books. Like really, truly, can’t-leave-home-without-one obsessed with books. Nate and I are hoping this means she’s destined for great, nerdy, and intellectual pursuits. She definitely has her favorites and grows excited when it’s time to read the titles below. And since it is the gift-giving season I thought it’d be the perfect time to share the best board books for babies. Toys are often a go-to gift for little ones, but books should be considered as well. They can be inexpensive and just as entertaining. These eleven board books are the favorites in Waverley’s collection among her, Nate, and I. They are the most engaging and interesting to read as well as interactive for babes. One of Waverley’s pastimes is to rip off the flaps, imitate animal sounds, and point fervently to her belly button (and now our Christmas tree).
