There’s been a plague of sickness hovering around our house this week. All three of us have been fighting a rude little virus that has made us want to spend our time inside cuddling on the couch. Or in the bed. It’s my first time being sick since before I was pregnant and the experience is much more different with a babe than before. Our allotment of rest is up to her and she doesn’t seem to mind the snot running down her face, so we shouldn’t either. Fortunately there are few things a good bottle of wine and the newest episode of Parenthood can’t help. (Warning: if you’re not up to date do not scroll down.) Here is what I’m happy about this week!
{This little girl has taken off. She’s climbing stairs, cruising on furniture, and dancing everywhere. She may have been late to the crawling game yet is quickly making up for lost time. She loves to bring pals on her adventures and doesn’t mind stopping midway for a round of applause.}
{We’ve had a heat wave here (low 40s!), which means Charlie gets to join on our errands. When we return to the car he’s made himself cozy in Waverley’s car seat and I like to think he is purposefully keeping it warm for her.}
{Since we’ve all been under the weather, this essential oils humidifier has been going nonstop filling the house with the scent of peppermint and eucalyptus.}
{I am SO excited to decorate Waverley’s room for the holidays! This cozy flannel sheet is in her crib already. I am patiently waiting to put up the rest.}
{It’s about time Joel got over himself and wised up. Amiright?}
