It’s Wednesday! I am now cozy and settled in Oregon ready to spend the next three weeks with friends and family. Of course there’s plenty to be happy about when I’m here, yet I’m still grateful and happy for my moments of happiness in Alaska. First on the list: Waverley started crawling! Finally! Yesterday I learned the hard truth about curious and mobile babes. I was getting ready in the bathroom when I saw my hot curling iron slowing being pulled off of the counter. I quickly went to catch it and in doing so spilled my hot coffee everywhere, serious millimeters away from my unsuspecting baby. Yikes! Disaster avoided yet I don’t think I’ll soon forget What Almost Happened. So among my happiness below, I am very grateful yesterday did not involve a trip to the hospital.
{This girl finally started crawling! If you read this post then you know what a long time coming this has been, and also that I’m glad I listened to the OT in me rather than the mother in me.}
{I seriously love my quarterly stationery subscription box from Antiquaria Design Studio. Look at all of these lovely goodies I came home to one day! Perfect.}
{Okay, yep. Alaska can be pretty beautiful. Just look at this view from our lunch spot!}
{I love this bottle of wine that Nate picked out. Pretty appropriate, don’t you think?}
{Waverley was a little indifferent towards being in the pool, but she did enjoy her sky-high tosses!}
