Happy Hump Day y’all! I’m still on the quest for seeking happiness in simple pleasures and embracing the current phase of my life. Forcing myself to conscientiously seek out joy has helped tremendously to change my perspective lately. I implore all of you to try it, too, if you’re not already. Here are a few things that have made me smile this past week:
{A new lip color that arrived just in time for our date night. Yes, we did go out and it was glorious!}
{I smile every time I wear this pearl bracelet, which was given to me on my first Mother’s Day this year! You might even call it pearls on a string?}
{A silly, thoughtful, and encouraging card from one of my best friends. It was just what I needed!}
{This supportive, baby-wearing husband of mine who insisted I get a massage on Saturday. Ummm, okay.}
Love that you’re seeking happiness in daily things! I do have to ask, (especially since I am expecting my first baby in November) what type of carrier is little Waverly in? There are far too many options out there and I am always curious what is helpful to moms right now. Thanks!
I am so glad you asked! We use the Beco Gemini and I love it. We have tried several different carriers and this one is the best! When she was itty bitty I carried her around in the Moby Wrap though. Congrats on your little bean!
enjoy the massage and the little things 🙂
Thanks Brooke:)!
This is great and something I need to remember and apply to my daily life.
It’s much easier said than done! I have to constantly remind myself.
i have been lusting after that pearl bracelet!! ahh love it
