I officially have a new favorite wedding gift to give. It’s unique, personal, affordable, and useful. I am in love with the charming state shaped cutting boards created by A.Heirloom. The idea was born when the creators were planning their own wedding and wanted to pay homage to their home states. Adorable, right? And for only $48.00 it’s a lovely option for nearly any occasion. Obsessed.
Yes, this looks like a regular rectangle yet in fact it is the state of Wyoming. Duh! my husband says. What a boring looking state, I mumbled. The heart represents Cody (anyone up for a rodeo?) and the date is the couple’s wedding date.
I love gifts that can stand alone or serve as the main event for a themed present depending on one’s budget. An awesome chef’s knife would make a great complement or a colorful set of cheese knives (also seen here).
What state would you get? I am partial to Oregon, of course, while Husband votes for Alaska. Battle of the wild west!
I just got invited to my first friend wedding and I know they want to get better at cooking so this may be my go to! What an awesome idea!!
Love this idea!!
What a great gift! So unique and something the couple will treasure for a long, long time.
just got my order today!!!! got new jersey and PA (bride and groom home states) and the NJ one is PERRRRRFECT for a cheese platter and the PA one as a normal cutting board! I love love loveeeee you for this idea.
This is great. And I really love the idea of giving this as a gift. Even as a housewarming or hostess gift, I think it could work!
It definitely could! It is now on my holiday gift list for several people:)
Thank you! I love this idea. Giving it an Oregon bride!
How perfect! I hope she loves it:)
