I recently purchased the purse pictured above {the J.Crew Cork Invitation Clutch} and immediately thought it was the perfect spring and summer bag.  It is lightweight, goes with nearly anything thanks to the neutral color, and is a welcomed change from my usual brown leather option.  The gold specs throughout help glam it up, too, and I was smitten with its day-to-night versatility.  I thought it was just so unique until I found out that (a) my friend Alix already has a cork purse, and (b) there are several variations available from other stores.  Sigh, no trendsetting going on here.  Despite my apparent lack of cork purse knowledge I am definitely obsessed.  If you are as well, you may need to join the queue because the J.Crew version is now on backorder (nooo!).  I was assured their stock will be refilled soon but if you’re as inpatient as me you may want to try another option below.
