From October to March (April?) it is frigid enough here for cozy jackets every. single. day. It’s my second full winter here this year– and I just finally realized that having a few fabulous coats in my repertoire makes the cold days a bit more tolerable. I’m trying to forego the down parka as much as possible and wear beautiful wool coats à la Miracle on 34th Street. Rather than opt for a traditional gray, black, or camel, I chose this stunning pale blue long wool coat (on sale for Cyber Monday here!) because I had dreams of it popping against the snowy backdrop that I live in. Every time I put it on I feel a little more glam trekking through the snow and carting a toddler around. Now these chilly days aren’t so bad.
