Bonjour! I just couldn’t quit reflecting on our wonderful stay in Paris so I am back with more. I realize my posts were long and all-encompassing (sorry not sorry!), so I’ve condensed and shortened my favorite Parisian spots into a short, nitty-gritty-go-here post thanks to the request from a reader. I do hope you all make it to Paris at some point and if you do, make sure to go to these lovely spots!
Breakfast and Coffee
Ladurée– It is an essential when visiting Paris! I recommend the French Toast and macarons to go. // 21 rue Bonaparte, 75006
Café Kitsuné– The perfect stop after touring The Louvre for a takeaway iced latte. // 51 Galerie de Montpensier, 75001
Angelina– For a decadent hot chocolate and beautiful decor. // 226 rue Rivoli, 75001
Lunch
Rose Bakery– For their giant latte bowls (a piggy latte, naturally) and large organic dessert section. Don’t forget to grab a cookbook on your way out! // 30 rue Debelleyme, 75003
L’Estaminet des enfants rouges– For the freshest ingredients situated near the oldest market in Paris. Warning: everything is in French so bring your translator app! // 39 rue de Bretagne, 75003
Dinner
Ellsworth– A small plates restaurant where even carrots are magically delicious. // 34 rue de Richelieu, 75001
Markets and Parks
Rue Montorgueil– This street is filled with the best flower shops and the cutest cafes. The photo ops are endless! // Rue Montorgueil, 75002
Place Dauphine– A charming square with beautiful architecture. Perfect for sitting on a bench and enjoying a midday snack. // Place Dauphine, 75001
Les Jardins du Palais Royal– A serene park in the middle of the bustling city. The flowers were gorgeous! // 6 rue de Montpensier, 75001
Marché des Enfants Rouges– The oldest covered market in Paris offers fresh pasta, vegetables, fruit, and so much more. Go for lunch, too! // 39 rue de Bretagne, 75003
Museums
Musée du Louvre– A must, not only for the art but the iconic architecture. // 75001 Paris, France
Musée d’Orsay– For the neoimpressionist collection especially. // 1 Rue de la Légion d’Honneur, 75007
Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature (Museum of Hunting and Nature)- Nate loved the artful take on taxidermy and the historic perspective of hunting. // 62 rue des Archives, 75003
Cooking Classes
La Cuisine Paris– I took the Croissant Class and thoroughly enjoyed it. I really wish I would have had time for all them! Make sure to schedule far in advance since classes book up quickly. // 80 Quai de l’Hôtel de Ville, 75004
Where to Stay
We stayed in this VRBO apartment and loved it. The location was absolutely perfect and centrally located. Plus the Nespresso machine was stocked and there is nothing better than that!
